Disability

Bowls can be played in many formats, singles, pairs, triples and fours. Bowls can be played competitively at local, national and international level or it can be a social pastime.

Bowlers with a disability can compete with or against non-disabled bowlers in most situations. It is one of the most accessible and integrated sports readily available, we also run specific disability bowls sessions twice a week for those who cannot bowl from a wheelchair or prefer not to play in the main leagues.

We have people bowling with all disabilities, we have seven wheelchairs plus a disabled ramp. For the more disabled person’s we have a chute for them to use. It is just not physical disabled people it includes mental disability.

Whether you are an existing bowler with a disability or if you have never tried bowls and have a disability, why not contact us.

Access for wheel chairs or mobility scooters. Disabled parking bays, ramp from car park into building with ramps onto playing surface. Disabled toilets.
